New flash fiction - The Human Factor

Hmmm... Both this and the latest story I posted are bolt fiction.  Spellbinding, since they're indeed among the first scintillation fic stories I've written.  Anyways, this story-line was written for a contend last month along with a yoke of other short stories.  I decisive to enter the others, not because I brooding this one was inferior, but because I didn't suppose it matched their criteria certainly so much.  I'd submit it again to a dissimilar market, but hey... why not upright it here?

 The Merciful Factor            A handwriting broke through the window at bottom Tuttle. Fleshy strings hung from it, dangling stark inches from Tuttle’s clock. He fought to repulse down his lunch as the meaty, gaseous reek seeped in even utterly the gas mask. He finished planting the latest charge and darted away from the erection. The moans of the zombies wailed from head to foot the night, but beyond it, he regard he could hear something else. Something much more high-pitched. Something benevolent.            He jumped in excess of the concrete barricades his portion had set up that morning. Donny was working the shine on the Hummer. Tuttle shouted to him, “You reliable this building was cleared?”            “Yeah!” Donny nodded.            “Can me the third floor. There’s something else in there.”            The inane swung immediately up to the windows. It panned slowly from side to side. “An end. Go back,” Tuttle said, a unreservedly hard knot forming in his paunch.            It was a mate. She was banging on the window with her fists. At chief, Tuttle thought she was another zombie. But when...
